Our next stop through the Baseball Hall of Fame takes us to a few Mets-related items. There’s the Tom Seaver exhibit, the Mets locker which is oddly sans jersey, some mementos, and, finally, some non-Mets stuff.

Continuing with the photos I took while at the Baseball Hall of Fame, we start with the display of recently inducted Andre Dawson (an Expo!), then a look through the media wing, and a stop at the art gallery.

It’s best to let the official description from the Times Square Alliance explain it all:
Counting Sheep (2011) by Brooklyn artist Kyu Seok Oh with the West Harlem Art Fund — a 36-foot long installation consisting of a flock of 24 hand-made paper sheep designed to invite people in Times Square βto relax, count the sheep and even doze off a little.β

While up in Oneonta visiting Genevieve’s family, we went up to Cooperstown where I finally, yes FINALLY, visited the National Baseball Hall of Fame. I’ll be putting up a whole bunch of photos in batches. This first set is just the gallery with the plaques and related miscellany.

Okay, confession time – I sometimes forget what photos I’ve taken. The above photo is a good example. I found it online when searching for “wonggawei”, my Flickr account nickname and came across a blog that was using it in a post. Once I saw it, I remembered that I took it while walking across the 59th Street Bridge in an attempt to save on a subway fare since I didn’t want to spend the money on a monthly card at the time. Stupid me.
